The Network Information Center
is a program through which you can get information about the network
that is connected to your computer and connect to the internet. More
specifically, given the following information:
External IP Address: The IP address of your Internet
Internal IP Address: Internal IP address (the network)
Default Gateway : The IP address of Router you are connected
Address physical (MAC) : The unique physical address (MAC) network card
Network Interface Card: Information about the network card
It is also possible PING a
remote computer in order to determine if it is connected to the
internet. Network Information Center is also helpful in some
troubleshooting tasks as it gives an option to ping an IP address or
website. It runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.
